Our next book is "A Psalm for the Wild-Built". This cozy science fiction novella follows Sibling Dex, a tea monk who travels across the moon of Panga, offering comfort and listening to people's concerns. Their life takes an unexpected turn when they meet Mosscap, a robot who ventures into human society for the first time in centuries with a simple yet profound question: "What do people need?" Together, they embark on a thoughtful journey exploring purpose, fulfillment, humanity's relationship with nature, and what it means to live a meaningful life.
Becky Chambers is an American science fiction author best known for her hopeful, character-driven stories, including the Wayfarers series. A Psalm for the Wild-Built is the first book in her Monk & Robot series and won the Hugo Award for Best Series in 2022.Arkady Martine is the pen name of AnnaLinden Weller, an American author and Byzantine historian. She studied at the University of Chicago, the University of Oxford, and Rutgers University.
