We are keeping the momentum going for our second installment! This time, we're kicking off Independence Day weekend at Forget Me Not in Cherry Creek.

This lounge offers a sophisticated, energetic indoor/outdoor environment perfect for building connections before the holiday.

We are starting at 5:30 PM. Avoid the trap of driving home. Pack it: a sport coat on a hanger, a sharp change of shirt, or heels in your commuter bag - and hey, easy on the cologne there, champ.

RSVPs are limited. The initial reservation is eight attendees to secure a premium space. Join the waitlist even if the event appears full. I will negotiate expansion as our waitlist grows.
Waitlist: Watch for notifications up to 2 hours before the event.

Commit now. Last-minute cancellations and no-shows will result in your being blocked from this event series until next season, though of course I'm sympathetic to emergencies. Conflict with work times? Ask me/detail in RSVP.

Be:

• On Time. We are coordinating to hold this space. If you need to be late due to work, note that in your RSVP: this may affect some RSVPs, sorry.
• RSVP'd. Accurate headcounts are mandatory for success.
• Respectful. Treat the staff and fellow members with high regard. This is a social mixer, but feel free to meet someone.
• Well Dressed. Sharp after work indoor/outdoor attire. Elevated, classy.
• A GOOD TIPPER. Note: this venue includes a 20% cost of living charge.

Cost: Expect premium Cherry Creek cocktail pricing. Attendees are responsible for their own tabs.

Parking: 227 Clayton St, 100 Detroit St, or 250 Fillmore St. Valet: 40 St. Paul St. Garage. Street parking is limited/not recommended.
Waitlist: Attendees will be moved off the waitlist strategically to balance the group demographic, and as our venue permits.
Safety: Your safety is a priority. If you need a walking partner as you depart, please ask directly.
Food: Yes, food is available.

As the weather heats up , we're gonna be at the park enjoying each others company and playing some Volleyball. (Weather pending as always)
Look for all the volleyball nets with the RED MARINE CORPS flags!!!!! (oh Rah) south of the Rec center at Wash Park by the 2 Big trees!
This is a social (non-competitive) event. Whether you've been playing your whole life or this is your first time touching a Volleyball, we'll make space for you. No spikes to the face and no yelling at newbies. This is a friendly environment where everyone is welcomed and you don't have to say you are sorry if you mess up! Just come out, have fun, and make some new friends.
Look for the red Marine Corps flag or white Army flag and you will find us! We usually have 3-5 nets set up so everyone can jump in to play. Feel free to bring your own net, other outdoorsy games, or just socialize.
We always welcome all ability levels & all age groups and never charge a fee. However, we do require the desire to play 3 Hit Volleyball Skills as explained below. The organizers of this event bring several nets to help satisfy all ability levels. However, if you bring your own net you are welcomed to dictate the level of play that you are interested in playing and you may choose your own players as you desire. We are a very friendly social group and want everybody to fit in to their ability level and have a pleasant experience. We will help new players as best we can to help them develop 3 Hit Volleyball Skills on a specific net if feasible. If you are new to this group, please introduce yourself to the organizers, and we will do our best to help you fit into this group.
Highly recommended items to bring are lawn chair, ball cap, suntan lotion, and bottled water.
Remember, this is 3 hit volleyball ( Bump, Set, Spike ) as oppose to Jungleball. We will train newcomers if they are not familiar with these skills..
Our goal is to satisfy all ability levels and get all interested players who show up involved in the action.
We also accept donations to help out on organizing events, future BBQ events with meat/utensils/etc, fuel for the grill, equipment upkeep, meetup fees, etc. We will have a donation tin for cash donations, but you can also use
