Mix Sex and the City with The Golden Girls, and what do you get? The Desert Divas! This dynamic group is for women in their fabulous 30s, 40s, and 50s looking to connect, have fun, and build meaningful friendships with like-minded women. If you're ready to embrace the best years of your life, laugh with new friends, and create memories together, you've found your tribe! To maintain a small and intimate group, a limit of 45 members will be enforced.

Our group celebrates the fantastic women we are at this stage in life—confident, strong, and knowledgeable. We're here to enjoy life's adventures, whether conversing over coffee or wine, going to brunch, playing pickleball, attending sporting events or concerts, thrifting for treasures, or visiting cultural events. There will be a plethora of diverse activities, allowing us to build meaningful friendships.

Events will take place throughout the valley, with possible day trips to various areas of Arizona. We can't wait to see you at our next event!

# Desert Divas Group Guidelines (Updated 8/1/26)

Our goal is to create a fun, welcoming, and supportive community where women can connect, build friendships, and enjoy memorable experiences together. To maintain a positive environment and ensure everyone has the best possible experience, please review and follow the group guidelines.

### RSVP Commitment & No-Shows

Please be respectful of fellow members, event hosts, and organizers by honoring your RSVP commitments. If you can no longer attend an event, please update your RSVP as soon as possible so that members on the waitlist have the opportunity to participate.
Three no-shows after RSVP confirmation may result in removal from the group. We understand that emergencies and unexpected circumstances happen, so please communicate with the organizers if a situation arises.

### Respectful Behavior

Desert Divas is built on kindness, inclusion, and positive connections. Inappropriate behavior or actions toward another member, organizer, business, or facility we visit will not be tolerated.
This includes hostility, negativity, drama, harassment, or any behavior that makes another member feel uncomfortable or unsafe. Drugs are strictly prohibited at all events. If alcohol is available or consumed during an event, members are expected to drink responsibly. Organizers are here to create experiences and foster connections—not to manage member behavior.

### Membership Participation Requirements

Because Desert Divas is a limited-membership group, active participation helps keep our community engaged and connected. Members who have not attended a Desert Divas event within 90 days may be removed from the group and their membership will become inactive, even if membership dues have been paid. Membership fees are non-refundable.
If you have a special circumstance that prevents you from attending events, please reach out to the organizers. We are happy to discuss your situation.

### Guest Policy

Please read each event description carefully to determine whether guests are permitted. Some events are designed specifically for members only, while others may allow guests. If an event allows guests, you will be prompted to indicate this when submitting your RSVP.
Any guest you bring must meet the eligibility requirements listed for that specific event. Guests who do not meet the event criteria may not attend.
Our events are designed to help members connect, form friendships, and feel comfortable participating. Bringing unapproved or ineligible guests can impact the experience for others by making it more difficult for members to engage and connect, so we appreciate your cooperation and respect for this policy.

### Desert Duos Couples Events

Desert Divas members may also have the opportunity to participate in Desert Duos couples events. To attend Desert Duos events, members must participate with a significant other with whom they are in a committed relationship, such as a spouse, boyfriend, or girlfriend. These events are designed for established couples to enjoy shared experiences together.

### Ticket Transfers

If you are unable to attend an event that requires a ticket purchase, you may transfer your ticket only to another eligible Desert Divas member—not to a guest or someone outside of the group.
All ticket transfers must receive organizer approval before the exchange is completed.

### Timeliness & Event Start Times

Please make every effort to arrive on time for scheduled events. Being punctual helps ensure that everyone has the best possible experience and allows events to begin as planned.
Many Desert Divas events involve reservations, scheduled activities, ticketed experiences, or businesses that are accommodating our group. Late arrivals can impact reservations, delay the start of activities, disrupt other members' experiences, and create challenges for organizers who are coordinating the event.
We understand that unexpected situations happen, so if you are running late, please communicate with the organizer whenever possible. Thank you for respecting everyone’s time and helping us keep our events running smoothly.
