About us
The Center is based on the Tibetan Buddhist lineage. We are part of the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT), an international family of city and retreat centers, monasteries, publishing houses, hospices, and healing centers that share that purpose.
The organization is run by individuals dedicated to providing an integrated educational experience through which minds and hearts can be transformed into their highest potential for the benefit of all sentient beings.
We host Buddhist teachings, guided meditations, weekly classes, and other related events.
We are located at 140 Washington Street, LL30 in Reno, Nevada.

16 Guidelines Meditation Course
Dharmakaya Buddhist Center, 140 Washington St suite ll30, Reno, NV, USJoin us every other Saturday starting September 5.
The 16 Guidelines are a direct and practical tool for making life better. They provide a simple yet robust framework examining the way we think, speak, and act. The latest neuroscience research suggests that each of us has the potential to continue developing and transforming our minds, from birth right up until death. We can literally re-wire our brains for happiness.
16 Guidelines for Life is a program created by the Foundation for Developing Compassion and Wisdom (FDCW), an FPMT International Education Project. The Foundation for Developing Compassion and Wisdom was established in 2005 to help create a more peaceful, compassionate, and sustainable world. FDCW provides educational programs and training that help transform minds and make people happier.
This will be presented as 16 one-hour sessions.
