Do you love a book that keeps you guessing until the very end? Are you drawn to edge-of-your-seat suspense, gripping thrillers, or stories where you’re constantly asking, “Who did it?”

Then the Douglasville Mystery Book Club may be the perfect place for you! 📚

Whether you enjoy a classic whodunit, police procedural, cozy mystery, noir crime, crime caper, or true crime, this book club is for readers who love a good mystery and enjoy discussing all the twists, turns, suspects, and theories along the way.

Who Can Join?

Individuals 21 and older are welcome to join. To help create a welcoming and authentic environment for our members, you must also have a current photo of yourself on your profile to join.

When & Where?

We will meet in person once a month, every second Sunday, from 1:00–2:30 p.m. at a café or restaurant in Douglasville, GA or potentially other Atlanta Metro establishments.

To keep our conversations engaging and ensure everyone has an opportunity to participate, members for each meeting will be limited to 10 participants.

Rules of Engagement

1. Be respectful.
   Different opinions and interpretations are part of what makes a book discussion interesting. Disagree with the theory, not the person, and let’s keep our conversations respectful and healthy.
2. Make your best effort to read the book.
   This is a discussion-focused book club, so please come prepared to share your thoughts, theories, favorite moments, and—of course—your suspicions!
3. Please provide 24-hour notice if you cannot attend.
   If your plans change, simply update your RSVP to “Not Attending” so another reader may have the opportunity to join.
4. Come ready to have fun!
   Meet fellow mystery lovers, share your theories, debate the suspects, and enjoy the experience. You never know—you may discover your next favorite book or your new favorite reading buddy!
