What we’re about
This group is a welcoming community for women in Bellevue looking to build meaningful connections. Whether you’re a longtime local or new to the area, our goal is to create a friendly and supportive environment where members can connect at local spots 💛
Our events are casual and designed to help you meet new people, share experiences, and have a great time. If you enjoy thoughtful conversations, making new friends, and being part of a social community, you’re in the right place! Most of our members are over 30, but we don’t check IDs 😉 We know making friends as an adult can be tough, and we believe in creating opportunities to connect.
Attendance Policy
We understand that life gets busy, but we want to ensure this community remains active and made up of people who genuinely want to be involved.
- Respecting Hosts & Attendees: Our organizers and co-hosts volunteer their time to make these events happen. If you sign up for an event, please be considerate by showing up, engaging, and following group guidelines.
- Inactivity: Members who haven’t attended an event in 3+ months may be removed, but they’re always welcome to rejoin when they’re ready.
- Last-Minute Cancellations: RSVPs close 24 hours before the event to avoid confusion. If you cancel after that, it still counts as a no-show since the spot was reserved. Multiple last-minute cancellations may result in removal from the group.
- No-Shows: If you RSVP “Yes” but don’t attend, it prevents others from taking that spot and affects the event dynamic. Frequent no-shows may result in removal from the group.
We want to create a space where members feel valued and comfortable, and we appreciate everyone’s efforts in making this a vibrant and active community.
No Promotions or Solicitation
This group is a space for genuine social connection, not self-promotion. While it’s completely fine to talk about your work when it comes up naturally in conversation, actively promoting your business, social media, services, or paid groups is not allowed.
Examples of what’s not okay:
- Pushing members to follow your Instagram, subscribe to your content, or join a paid program.
- Handing out business cards or pitching services at events.
- Using the group as a networking or recruiting opportunity.
We want to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and isn’t put in a position where they need to say no to something. Repeated self-promotion may result in removal from the group.
