A hiking group for internationally-minded people living in Edinburgh in their 20's to 40's. Organising regular hikes in the mountains, forests, countryside and coast in Scotland and perhaps even beyond, while enjoying the good company of others.

Alva Glen and Wallace Monument walk
Scott Monument, E. Princes St Gardens, Edinburgh EH2 2EJ, UK, Edinburgh, GBHi guys,
So I'm planning a walk up the Beautiful Alva Glen located near Stirling on the 19th of September. The walk is a fairly easy 2-3 hour return walk up a gorge, with plenty of waterfalls and streams, leading eventually to Smuggler's Cave. On the way back and if all are willing, we'll do a little hike up to the Wallace Monument for a nice view.Link to map of hike:

The total cost for both train and bus will be about £15. Please remember to wear a decent pair of hiking shoes and bring a rain jacket, food and water.
