Get ready for an incredible night of live music and non-stop dancing! We have a fantastic meetup layout scheduled to go out and catch one of the region’s absolute favorite high-energy party acts. We are heading out to the St. Albert Casino to the incredible sounds of Rave On!
For those who haven't experienced them live yet, Rave On is a highly versatile, seasoned four-piece Edmonton-area band that has been a premier staple of the local live music and festival circuit since the mid-1985/1992 era. Led by singer-songwriter Todd Mansell alongside Ed Cruse (guitars/keys), Dwayne Scheeler (keyboards), Rodger Weir (drums), and Neil Hennig on bass guitar, this group operates on a very simple rule: "If the music doesn't pull you to the dance floor, we don't play it!" Let's get a fantastic turnout to support Todd and the guys. Reply directly to the feed to claim your spot on the roster for the evening, and let’s keep our community dancing!

Hello Let’s Dance Family! It is time to get those dancing shoes polished and mark your calendars for a massive event that combines everything we love—great music, classic cars, and supporting a truly worthy cause. I am absolutely thrilled to invite you all to the Rock for Hunger Benefit Concert held at the Awâsis Waciston (Prince Charles School) grounds. This isn't just a concert; it’s a full-day celebration at no cost Just asking you to bring some non perishable food items donation for the Edmonton Food Bank.
We’ve put together an incredible program that is sure to be the highlight of the summer, featuring a main stage lineup of three professional bands guaranteed to keep the dance floor packed. The Oddibles will keep the groove going all night, MARS is ready to take us on a journey through high-energy favorites, and Rave On will bring those classic rock 'n' roll hits we all know and love. While the non stop music takes center stage, you can also take a stroll through our "Shine and Show" 150 vintage car display, which will feature a stunning collection of vehicles perfect for car enthusiasts and a great backdrop for some nostalgia-filled photos.
To cap off this landmark moment, we will be ending the night with a spectacular Drone Light Show—a modern and breathtaking alternative to fireworks that will light up the sky above the school grounds. I would love to see our dance group out in full force to show Edmonton how we support a great cause while having a fantastic time. Beyond attending, I am also looking for a few enthusiastic individuals who would be interested in volunteering just a couple of hours of their time. Your support would be instrumental in ensuring this event is a complete success and runs smoothly for everyone involved.
