Welcome to Falconry Friends and Feathered Flight Enthusiasts. This group is for anyone curious about the art of falconry, whether you are a complete beginner looking to understand the basics or someone who has spent years admiring these birds from a distance. We started this meetup to create a space where people can learn about the history, ethics, and hands-on skill required to work with raptors in a relaxed, approachable environment.

We host regular classes and informational sessions that focus on the reality of the sport, moving beyond the myths to show what it really takes to partner with a bird of prey. Our goal is to connect you with experienced mentors and provide a community where you can ask questions, share stories, and observe these incredible animals up close. If you have a deep interest in birds and want to learn more about the traditional practice of falconry, we would love to have you join us for our next gathering.

If you have ever been curious about the ancient art of falconry, this workshop in Mandurah is a great way to get a closer look at these birds of prey. We will be spending time outdoors to learn about the history of the practice, the equipment involved, and the unique bond between a falconer and their bird. You will get the chance to see a few different species up close, hear about the training process, and learn what it actually takes to care for and fly these animals.
This session is designed for anyone with a genuine interest in raptors or wildlife handling, whether you are looking for a new hobby or just want to learn something completely different. It is a relaxed, informative afternoon, and you will have plenty of opportunity to ask questions and see the birds in action. We are keeping the group size small so everyone gets a chance to interact with the birds comfortably.
