Welcome! Brisbanites aged in their Fancy 40's-50's are invited for drinkies, dinners, music and fun at a variety of events across Brisbane.
Fancy 40's-50's is a friendly, safe and respectful environment for Brisbanites to mingle and enjoy themselves with similarly aged persons - single, attached, gay, straight, or any other label!
A little admin - important:
- Please ensure you have a recent, clear profile picture (not cartoon/blank) so I can recognise you when I meet/greet at my events;
- You are aged between 40-59 years;
- Notification settings for organiser emails are kept ON and I promise not to spam you and only send an email if the content is really important;
- Please pay for any ticketed events by 48 hours prior;
- Please keep your rsvp's up to date and if you can't go, move yourself to the Not Going list so those on the Waitlist can attend. **Repeat No Shows will be removed from the group**.
- After you've attended an event and met someone you want to be friends with, only send messages to members if they've approved contact (avoid scammers etc).
- Dress code - doesn't have to be "Fancy" just smart casual!
- As Meetup organisers are volunteers and have to pay over $600/annum just to have a group, a gold coin donation every now and then would be appreciated (by myself and other organisers).

Caxton Street Brewing Co. at the top of Caxton Street has reserved two special areas for the Fancies - Outside seated area - for chatting + Inside dance floor with none other than DJ Frank LP spinning the tunes for us!
Dress up in your Fanciest Hawaiian shirt or floral themed clothes and join us for an amazing night!
Plus celebrate a few October birthdays, including mine 🎉🤩🥳!

To RSVP, payment of $18 is required, PayPal link below.
Please note Meetup has added the booking fee of $1.92 to the ticket price so make sure you get in while it's $18!
You do not need a PayPal account, just a Debit or Credit Card.
Refunds will be available up to 6pm, Friday 9/10/26, minus fees.

Superfry'd debuted 'Disco Fever' in June to another sold out crowd. If you've not been to one of these Superfry'd shows at Doo-Bop, now's the time!

The Beaumont, 608 Ann St, Fortitude Valley QLD 4006, Australia, Brisbane, AULet’s meet up in the heart of Fortitude Valley from 6pm for an evening on the rooftop at The Beaumont Hotel (formally known as Birdies).
We have changed the booking to Saturday 15 August now and will be seated in the Beergarden - more room for more people!
Enjoy rooftop beers, poolside cocktails, and a great menu selection as we soak up the atmosphere and catch up. As the night rolls on, we can start plotting which dance floor to hit next — the Valley is right at our feet.
