Fantastic Happenings

The South Brunswick Library has a selection of games and staff members bring some of their own to share. Feel free to bring your favorite games or play one of ours. Learn new games or enjoy getting to play with real, actual people! We should be in our small meeting room (1A/1B), located to the right of the Borrower Services desk, however look for a sign just in case we have to change rooms.
No registration is required but space is limited and will be given on a first come, first served basis. Open to anyone ages 18 & up. If parking is an issue, please feel free to park at the Municipal Lot nearby.

Come get in the DIY spirit and learn how to make zines! Zines are small magazines focused on the topic of your choosing. Friendly to newbies and seasoned zinesters alike. Materials will be provided but supplies are limited.

Paper, stamps, writing utensils, and various clippings will be provided, as well as scanning and printing capabilities.
Participants will be able to print completed zines (up to $5).
No registration is required, however, supplies and seating may be limited if there is a high attendance.

We have created a brand new group at the South Brunswick Public Library! It's an anime & manga group for adults (ages 18 & up).
We kinda end up discussing whatever we are reading or watching....nothing too structured.
No registration is required.

We are pleased to announce our first gaming festival! We'll have board games, video games, card games and fun for all. The festival is officially Noon-5pm; no registration required but specific areas might have limited seating. Bring your own board or card games to play or try something new.

A video game truck will be here from 12:30-4:30 (Angel Arcade) with opportunities to play popular video games.

Board Games will be available to borrow in a central location of the library to play in Meeting Room 1A/1B as well as the tables in front of the room.

Party Games (both on Steam & in board game format) will be played in the Teen Meeting Room, a schedule of which Steam Games will be posted on the day of the event. A selection of party board games will be available to use in the room.

Trading Card Games (Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic The Gathering, Pokemon or any trading card game you want to bring to play) will be held in the Gambatese Room.

A one-shot role playing game, based on the Avatar: The Last Airbender franchise, will be played in the Learning Lab 2-4pm
A workshop on how to be a Game Master will be held in the Learning Lab 12:30-1:30pm
