You have read it right! Here, we are not only discussing fiction literature, such as short stories, novellas, novels, and plays, but also exploring alternative endings, inventing new characters, combining them, and various other similar ideas.
You don't need to have money for this. There will always be materials we can utilize in the public, starting with Project Gutenberg.
Have you read any Philip K. Dick (PKD) books? Did you confuse dream and reality with Kafka's stories? Ever dive deeper into the dark oceans of Lovecraft? Any first-hand experience of thrill just from reading Stefan Zweig or Edgar Allan Poe?
