Community Cleanup with Current Problems
Location not specified yetThis is a great organization that needs help cleaning up an area that is normally swampy. Bring water, wear closed toed shoes and bring a great attitude since it will be a hot one (the high Saturday is 91).
| Current Problems is pleased to return to action this Saturday, May 16th, noon-2pm, with a big cleanup within the Kanapaha Prairie basin which is currently almost bone-dry. It's behind the Oak Park Village trailer park near Celebration Pointe. From Archer Road, turn north onto SW 47th St., and proceed to the end, where you'll enter Oak Park Village. This is a big neighborhood and a bit maze-like, but you should be able to locate SW 38th Pl which is also called Oak Park Lane. Go all the way to the western end where it reaches the prairie and you will see our table set up.
