I am happy to introduce our 28th session titled Near Death Experiences and the Afterlife . As of now, our new meeting place is Floky La Loutre (see address for full location). However, the same warm atmosphere and vibrant community still remains to welcome you to the event and I hope you can attend! The meeting will take place on November 27 at 18:45 - 20:45.
Introduction to the topic - One of the most fundamental questions of how existence is what happens after we die? This question, which is disturbing to some yet profound to others, is one of a few universal questions that we always ask ourselves. Within spirituality, the occult, and religious belief, we have attempted to capture the essence of this question's answer with many different pictures of what the after life looks like. Very often in our day-to-day experience, we actually have very little to use to truly conceive of what the after life could look like. Yet, beyond spiritual conjecture, there are those who do experience a type of life event that might give us answers to this question.
Of course, I am talking those who have lived through near death experiences (NDE). Those who experienced NDEs usually leave their experience profoundly changed, having in their eyes, encountered very briefly what life after death might look like. The proverbial light at the end of the tunnel, seeing all of your loved ones, or even being in operating room outside of your body, all of these experiences characterise what many NDEs are like for people. And through these experiences, many experience a resurgence in their spiritual or religious beliefs; with some dramatically changing their life paths. All of these NDEs can give the spiritual seeker crucial direct knowledge of what the after life is like. In this exciting session, we will pursue the question of the afterlife and explore the world of NDEs. I hope you can join us!
