If you wanna do something, but you don't have anyone to do it with...then get up and get out with us. We are all about getting out of the house with like-minded individuals who want to do fun activities together.
Single, coupled, shy, introverted, extroverted? Doesn't matter, we have something for you!
We started this group because we hate doing things alone, and we're looking forward to exploring the indoors and outdoors with YOU! If you can dream it, we can do it. We welcome your suggestions to Get Up, Get Out!
And don't worry if you're not in our immediate area, we shall be doing things all over Texas and elsewhere, even abroad, so don't hesitate to join us to check out something new and exciting!

Highland Fling at the Ren Faire
Texas Renaissance Festival, 22014 FM 1774, Todd Mission, TX, US### Hoist your kilts and sharpen your wits, it’s Highland Fling Weekend at RenFest!
The Kingdom roars to life with Celtic pride as clans gather, pipes wail, and merriment echoes through the woods. This isn’t your average fall fest — it’s a tartan-clad takeover where you can toss a caber, cheer for your favorite Highland warrior, and dance a jig or two (whether or not you’ve had a wee dram).
You’ll find over 400 shoppes brimming with treasures — perfect for early holiday gifting, last-minute costume flair, or just a souvenir that says “aye, I was there.”
Those who've been here, know the layout - you cannot see it all in one day, but I shall have my list of must-see events marked off on the Festival Map, which is where you can join me depending on when you come. Come at any time, doors open at 9am (I'll be there around 1pm) and stay as long as you want.
