About us
Girls Who Boss is a community where we create meaningful connections with like-minded individuals.
Our vision is to create a network of women who want to lead meaningful lives, no matter what that looks like, and facilitate incidental collaboration and peer-to-peer learning. We are a community diverse in lifestyles, careers, cultures, and ages that advocate for non-conformity and authenticity. This is a space for us to play, test ideas, and support each other without judgment. We're all about having fun and learning while creating purposeful relationships in life and business.
Are you in? We thought so ;)
We host regular member-run events, professional and personal development events, social events, guest speakers, social activities, book club, and free casual networking coffee catchups. All members are welcome and encouraged to facilitate their own events through the group too! Reach out to one of our organisers if you have an idea you want to test or share your knowledge with the community. Our DMs are always open!
You can also follow us on Instagram.
Group Etiquette:
We are here to encourage you on your business, creative, or life journeys.
Our events often have limited attendance with a waitlist, and having an accurate list of RSVPs allows us to plan our events out. Please only RSVP "yes" to an event if you know you can make it. If you can no longer make it just change your RSVP to "no" and/or message the event host to let them know so someone on the waitlist can attend. We ask that you provide at least 48 hours notice if you will be changing your RSVP to "no". No-shows may be removed from the group at the organiser's discretion.
If we are notified more than 48 hours in advance of a paid event that you will no longer be able to attend, you may request to transfer your ticket to a future event, to be approved at the organiser's discretion.
Wondering why our events are ticketed? We've written about it here.
If there is anything the group can do to accommodate you at an event, please reach out to the event host so we can make it happen.
Any members who are found to be disrespectful or discriminatory will be removed or banned from the group. All of our members should feel comfortable, respected, and included.
Looking to collaborate or want us to promote something you're working on? Fill out our Collaborator Enquiry Form here.
We can't wait to see you at our next event!

Heal with me - Yoga Flow
FlowSt8, Unit 2/5 Glenarm Road, Glen Iris, AUPlease carefully note the booking instructions as this is an externally facilitated event and any attendees who are not properly registered for the event may miss out on a spot on the day. Please note that the studio has a booking fee.
The beautiful part about life is that we go through seasons and for me in this season I am healing an injury, whilst working out how to grow this community in the best way, whilst balancing so much more.
I love facilitating events for you but this winter I have decided to try out a different idea, where I go along to events that others are facilitating - and bring you with me.
Yoga Flow, by FlowSt8, is a gentle class is designed to help you let go of the chaos of your week and reconnect with your body to find calm.
As an attendee, I have found that sessions like this really bring extra peace into my day.
After the session, we will grab a coffee nearby together.
Booking instructions
Although we are sharing this event with you here, this is an externally facilitated event - basically, as a group we are showing up to the studio and booking into the class just like you would if you were going with a group of friends. We ask that you head over to the FlowSt8 site or app and book in to the 9 am yoga session on 16 August. Then once you’ve done that, come back here to RSVP so we know to expect you.
We have a referral link here for you which allows us to save $5 on our sessions, or if you’d rather use the normal link, you can find the website here.
