Join HCPG as we explore the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania houses one of the most significant collections of historic railroad artifacts in the world. Devoted to preserving and interpreting the broad impact of railroad development on society, the Museum. Displays 100 locomotives & cars from the mid-19th and 20th centuries, including the priceless Pennsylvania Railroad Historical Collection.
Learning Ops/Challenges: Opportunity to photograph vintage locomotive, rail cars exterior and interiors. Plus close up details shots. Make use of natural light or practice off camera flash to capture textures. Medium and wide angle lenses will be useful.
(The use of flash photography may be prohibited in certain parts of the Museum, such as the Museum’s second-floor art gallery. Signs will alert visitors to where flash photography is not permitted. The Museum reserves the right to limit the use of certain kinds of cameras, flashes, tripods, external lighting devices, or other related equipment inside our locomotives, railroad cars, and exhibits.)
Summary:
- 10:00 am: Meet in front of building
