***Meet in the large parking lot at Manitou incline shuttle pickup and walk to the trailhead.

This is a moderate 5+ miles out and back hike with about 900 ft elevation gain that features lovely rocks, shallow creek crossings, waterfall and fantastic views.

*** MEET in parking lot at Safeway at 3275 W. Colorado Ave to carpool to the trailhead in Green Mountain Falls.

*** This is one of my faves! Rated moderate, this trail is about 6.5 miles with 1700 ft elevation gain. It has a couple of short inclines, a river, beautiful waterfalls and great views!

***Animals: Friendly and manageable dogs are welcomed.

*** Trail conditions: packed dirt with some rocky area

*** NEEDED: WATER, hiking boots, sunglasses, sunscreen, (always rain poncho), first aid kit, and snacks/drinks to share. Hiking poles might come in handy.

***MEET in front of the bus stop at Hiawatha Gardens 5:30pm, catch the shuttle to the trailhead. Paid parking at Hiawatha Gardens in effect until 6pm. A free half hour parking option exists at the pay kiosks.

Parking may be available at Iron Springs Chateau, if no show is playing. You may be charged $15 to park at the Iron Springs Chateau. The Hiawatha Gardens parking lot and the Iron Springs Chateau are the only lawful incline parking options as posted by city signage. Parking elsewhere is at your own risk.

Meet at the trailhead by 6pm. //// Hike begins promptly at 6pm //// Shuttle back to Hiawatha if shuttle available. Walk back alternative.

This challenging loop is about 4+ miles and has about 2000 ft elevation gain and features great views.

Meet at trailhead off Garden of the Gods exit on I-25 then head north on frontage road toward ProRodeo Hall of Fame. Parking on side of Tech Center drive road

Moderate 5+ mile loop and about 600 feet of elevation gain

Trail features rock formations, great views, and diverse terrain. Animal sighting possible!

We’ll hike at a steady social pace with breaks for photos and views
