Hozankyo River Walk

●Participation fee 200 yen is required to join this hike. This goes for the meetup subscription. I'll collect the fee at the venue.
Hozankyo is a beginner’s level shower climbing spot. Though you should wear river shoes to walk in the river, usual running shoes (not flat bottoms) can be used if you don't have ones.

http://www.yamareco.com/modules/yamareco/detail-214199.htmlStarting from Karatodai station in the Kobe Dentetsu line, we head for Higashiyama-bashi where Hozankyo starts. Walk in the river until it ends, change our shoes, then go back to the starting point through a path along the river.
Some parts of the river is deep enough to swim. So be sure to wear clothes that dry up easily and make your backpack water proof (put everything into a big plastic bag -two layers are recommended- and put it into your backpack).
Walking time is about 5-6 hours. It's not a difficult hike technically, but you need to have a good physical strength to join this hike.
