Hello!
My name is Alessandro, and I am looking to create a casual book discussion group to read and discuss historical fiction books. I was inspired to create this group because of my love of history and the historical fiction genre.
I’m looking for this to be a primarily in-person group that meets monthly or bi-monthly. I am based in Naperville but am open to meeting anywhere in DuPage county, possibly at a library, bookstore, or coffee shop
I do not have a book picked for a first meeting yet, nor do I have a date set quite yet. However, I am open to suggestions, so please feel free to message me. Some books I am thinking about reading include The Librarian of Burned Books by Brianna Labuskes, The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon, and All The Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr.
