You can play games (any type) and chat AROUND them; some people like games as a focus
It's all fab, it's all cosy, it's all relaxed:)
THE GROUP IS FOR PEOPLE OVER 18 ONLY.
The Organiser reserves the right to ask for proof-of-age documentation(birth certificate/driving licence/passport); if this is not provided, he will ask the venue to ask you to leave. You can return at a future event, with the documentation
The group is HOSTED;
and you will be eased into a games (sub-) group by our Hosts.
NB There is no welcome meet (as such).
If you want this, it will still be provided in the big, 4 weekly SOCIAL GROUP, at Lime Street Central (and occasionally other venues).

RE GAMES
If you WANT to play games, we have: TRADITIONAL,STRATEGY AND PARTY BOARD(including SCRABBLE AND CHESS);AND CARD GAMES.
Bring your own game(at your own risk,) and you expand an already large choice:)
Examples of TRADITIONAL BOARD and CARD PARTY AND STRATEGY games: eg Monopoly, Uno, Skyjo,Connect 4, Boggle,Balderdash,Articulate, etc etc; all card games.All wacky and wonderful strategy games!(except role-play)

We have a number of tables; you can mix and match games, depending on who wants to play what and when!
Group meets every FOUR x MONDAY evenings (6.45/7-10.00), at “Lime Street Central” pub and kitchen,51 Lime St,Liverpool L1 1JQ

*You must be LGBTQ; and over 18 to attend all meetings. It is a safer-space group*
{the Q in LGBTQ refers to anyone who is under the umbrella of Queer; it does not refer to people who are just STARTING to question their sexual orientation and/or gender identity, (as in Q for questioning); ie you have to be ready enough -with support!- to actually ATTEND a (in real world)meet; Steve will welcome you at front door of the venue:)
We meet in mixed(non lgbtq-specific) venues; but these venues are known to be lgbtq-friendly.

We have a policy of mutual respect; and everyone is treated equally regardless of gender identity,race, sexual orientation,class, HIV status, (dis)ability.
PLEASE NOTE,as this is a private group(meeting on the premises of others' venues;we have no premises of our own), anything that occurs between attendees or members is a private matter between them; and should be resolved between individuals.
However, we ask that members and attendees are respectful of others' sexual, emotional and physical boundaries in every way.
PREDATORY(emotional or sexual) BEHAVIOUR IS *NOT* TOLERATED.
If any attendee arrives noticeably under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs,the Organiser will ask the venue to ask them to leave.
As this is a private group,and attendees are on a private guest-list,the Organiser reserves the right not to admit,or to remove,members,without explanation.
The Organising Team reserve the right to cancel/postpone meetings at short notice for acts of God, eg Organising Team illness, power cuts, cancellation by venue etc
Please note, we signpost people, who want support,-with sexual orientation/gender identity/sexual health issues-to, for example, Sahir House; its not that we do not want to help; its just they have expertise in these fields☺. You are still welcome to attend our group, in parallel!:)

I( Steve, Host/Organiser, see my profile pic) and/or Wayne will be sat by front, main door of venue, to welcome you, to point you to the section where we are sat: but this will only be from 6.30 to 7; so, after that, please ask at bar where the Games group is:)*PLEASE TRY AND ARRIVE BETWEEN 6.45 AND 7, so we can get people settled into games groups of their choice*
You can arrive upto 7.30; you may just have to wait a little to start a game!

"Lime Street Central" serves most types of alcohol, hot drinks (all evening), and soft drinks*(Recommended) MINIMUM SPEND: 1 x drink(alcohol/soft/hot)*
THEY ALSO SELL TAPAS STYLE MEALS UPTO ABOUT 8.30 PM
Please do not bring your own drinks, or just drink tap water, as we need to keep the good will of the venue!
Pay venue per person PER ITEM at the bar, as you go along. NO tabs!
THERE IS NO RENTAL CHARGE, so EVENT is, otherwise FREE.
THE VENUE, including OUR SPACE, IS FULLY WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE.
