Chama brings authentic Venezuelan flavor and genuine warmth to Topeka’s coffee scene. Enjoy handcrafted drinks like lattes, cappuccinos, café con leche, matcha, and specialty coffees featuring Nutella, dulce de leche, and pistachio flavors.

Hungry? They also serve Venezuelan favorites including empanadas, pastelitos, arepas, sandwiches, and desserts like tres leches and quesillo. Basically, humanity accidentally did something beautiful with coffee beans and condensed milk.

The café features a clean, minimalist atmosphere with natural light, making it a perfect place to relax and connect.

Join Humanists of Topeka for an afternoon of axe throwing, conversation, and community at Axe & Ale on Sunday, May 24, at 3:00 p.m. during Memorial Day weekend.

Whether you’re competitive, curious, or just looking to spend time with thoughtful, friendly people, this should be a fun and memorable social gathering.

Axe throwing costs:

• $30 per person for 1.5 hours
• Or $150 for a group of six people (6th person free)

Not interested in throwing axes? No problem. Axe & Ale also has a bar and lounge area where guests can relax, grab a drink, watch sports, and socialize without renting a lane.

A few important notes:
• Close-toed shoes are REQUIRED for axe throwing
• There is a 3-drink limit per customer while renting a lane
• Children ages 10+ may participate with parental consent
• Axe & Ale offers a 10% lane rental discount for military, police, fire, and emergency workers

Beginners are welcome, and coaching is available.

Friends, family, newcomers, skeptics, freethinkers, and curious humans are all welcome. Please RSVP through the event page so we can plan lanes and seating accordingly.
