OK Gen-Xers, let's take advantage of our amazing So Cal weather and go kayaking!

We'll meet at OC Paddlesports on Huntington Harbor in Sunset Beach - single kayaks are $25, double kayaks are $35.

We'll start early to avoid the crowds, but parking can still be tricky. Plan to park along PCH and walk to our meeting location.

You are responsible for paying for your own kayak, reservations are not needed. Please arrive a little early to get your kayak so we can start on time! :-)

This will be a fairly easy 'warm up' trip through the canals that will likely last about an hour, no experience needed (you can stay out longer if you like!). Future kayak events will be planned with longer routes in September and early October.

The rules of polite society apply - please remember we are all here to make friends and have fun!

• Ensure you possess the necessary skills, fitness level, and health required for this event.
• You should be able to swim or wear an approved Personal Flotation Device (PFD/life jacket) at all times while on the water.

This event is an informal gathering of peer enthusiasts and is not a professionally guided tour. The organizers, event hosts, and Meetup group admins are unpaid volunteers and are not certified instructors, guides, or medical professionals.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, by attending this event you hereby release, waive, and discharge the event hosts, organizers, and group members from any and all claims, liabilities, or demands for personal injury, property loss, or damage arising out of or connected to your participation.
