Hi!

This is a group for social dining in a variety of mid-ranged restaurants, (no food trucks, no bars), covering a number of cuisines in the general Albuquerque area East of the Rio Grande. We meet once a month on the second Thursday of the month for dinner.

I've been a member of Meetup for over 15 years have organized and managed several foodie type Meetups and greatly enjoy meeting new faces and making new friends.. the goal of this group is to encourage a congenial atmosphere and enjoy good food.

Events will require reservations and are capped at a limit of 20 people per event, the largest practical number.

We'll be meeting at the AZUMA SUSHI and TEPPAN location off WYOMING and PASEO del NORTE... please be aware that Azuma has two locations and this one is in the upper Northeast.

"Teppanyaki is a fun style of Japanese cooking. The word means "grilled on an iron plate". A chef cooks food right in front of you on a hot, flat metal table. They use fast, clever tricks and loud sizzling sounds to make your meal a fun show!"

Other menu options will be available, but we will be seated around the teppan grill tables.

As usual, the event is limited to 20, but there will be a waiting list and we have cleared people in off it at prior meetings so get your RSVPs in quickly, but don't hesitate if the event is showing "full".. we may be able to accommodate you, after all.
