Tired of driving to LA/OC/San Diego just to meet people in tech? Welcome to the tech group for us Inland Empire folks!
This is a casual meetup for people in tech at any level; whether you're just getting started or have years of experience. Developers, IT, cybersecurity, GIS, support, data, and other tech-adjacent folks are all welcome.
No pitches or cold selling, just hanging out, meeting people, and supporting others in tech. Never been to a tech meetup before? No need to study up beforehand! Some people come to nerd about about hobbies, some to talk shop, and most do a bit of both. If a conversation goes over your head, most people are happy to explain. Though fair warning, they may try to convert you to the dark side (looking at you, Java).
(And yes, non-IE people are welcome to make the long pilgrimage over 😉)

About Techmecula:
We're a growing group of 30+ regulars from every corner of tech —software, AI, cybersecurity, hardware, and everything adjacent. Doesn't matter if you're a decade into your career or still exploring what part of tech clicks for you — come as you are, there's room for everyone.
Skip the awkward small talk and business-card exchanges. This is just a group of people who speak the same language — dig into your latest project, nerd out on your least favorite tech stack, or just unwind with folks who actually understand your day-to-day 🤓. And if you're on the job hunt or want some real-world advice, those things tend to come up organically here too 🤝.
No speakers, no scripted panels. Just a space full of good people.

Casual Chats Over Coffee at Panera! (for people in tech & tech newbies)
Panera Bread, 30318 Haun Rd, Menifee, CA 92584, USA, Menifee, CA, US(Feel free to come even when we get over the 10 attendee limit! It's just a technical limitation of the free Meetup plan.)
Join us for our 6th casual monthly tech meetup at Panera in Menifee! We meetup every 3rd Wednesday of the month. For those who attended our last meetup its in the same shopping area as Better Buzz. We'll be chatting mostly about our hobbies, tech, etc; no special programming. Even if you're tech-curious you're welcome to come, the point of this event is to make friends!
They'll be the usual name badges as well as small "interest/topic" stickers you can add to your name badge, to try to make it easier to find your people. (Ex: hiking, pets, parent, new to town, scifi/fantasy, ect)
If you're unfamiliar with the area, this is right off the 215 freeway by a large shopping center so they'll be a lot of parking.
Even though this "officially" ends at 8:30, Panera open until 9pm
If you've never been to a Panera: its essentially a cafe with more food options. You can order a drink/food/ect at the counter, they'd call out when your orders ready, and then you can sit anywhere.
I called ahead and the Panera shouldn't be busy during our event time, but please keep an eye on the comments below and pictures for updates (ex: if we decide to move somewhere else). Meetup doesn't allow me to change the title, description or location once an event starts.
