About us
Welcome! This group is for bitcoiners across all experience levels to meet and discuss bitcoin. We meet the 3rd Wednesday of every month unless otherwise noted for a special event. We mostly get together and socialize but we occasionally have presentations. Past presentations have included: mining at home, hardware wallets, running a full node, among other things.
As a group, we try to be as welcoming as possible to newcomers. Even if you're just curious about bitcoin, please consider attending an event.
We keep it pretty simple - this is a bitcoin only meet up, no discussion of alt coins or trading. We also have a no photo policy to protect the privacy of our attendees.

Indy Bitcoin Meetup #60 - Bitcoin Backed Loans

At 7:30, Mike will be giving a presentation about bitcoin backed loans. What are they? How do they work? Should you do it?
If you haven’t been to a meetup yet, we meet on the third Wednesday of every month. Newcomers are always welcome!
We’ve been averaging 25–30 guests per meetup, and there’s always a handful of new faces. It doesn’t matter if you’re a longtime Bitcoiner or brand new to the space - everyone is welcome.

Viewing of film "Bitcoin Season"
Sophia Square LLC, 110 West Main Street, Carmel, IN, USEnjoy a private showing of the film "Bitcoin Season." Sponsored by Swan Bitcoin (pizza and soda), and hosted by A H who has generously arranged access to a 16-person private theater.
Bitcoin Season is a 2026 feature documentary directed by Mike Nicoll and produced by Full Surrender Films in collaboration with Swan Bitcoin. The film chronicles Swan’s mission to integrate Bitcoin into professional basketball, specifically highlighting its pioneering Bitcoin-only partnership with the Cleveland Cavaliers and its deal with Klutch Sports Group.
Because space is limited, this event will require meetup.com registration, with a max limit of the first 20 who register.
The event will be held on the first floor north side of Sophia Square in downtown Carmel. Free parking is in the underground garage (or street parking nearby).
