Hello and welcome to International Friends in Da Nang!
This group is about real connections, good conversations, and building an international community in and around Da Nang. English is our common language, but friendship is the goal.
What we do: In-person meetups in Da Nang (cafés, parks, beach walks, casual dinners)
Online meetups via Zoom or Google Meet on non-meetup weekends.
Relaxed, friendly conversations in English
Share stories, cultures, travel tips, and everyday life experiences
This is not a language class and not a dating group. It’s a social space where English helps us connect across cultures.
Who this group is for: Locals who enjoy meeting people from around the world
Expats, digital nomads, and travellers
Anyone comfortable communicating in basic to fluent English
People who value respectful, inclusive conversations
If you can say more than “hello” and are open to listening, you’re welcome.
How it works: In-person meetups: once a month or fortnightly in Da Nang
Online meetups: on the other weeks (Zoom / Google Meet)
Duration: around 60–90 minutes
Group size kept friendly so everyone gets a chance to talk
If the organiser is living nearby rather than in Da Nang full-time, in-person events will still be hosted regularly in the city.
Group guidelines
No dating or flirting – this is about friendship and community
Respect first – no interrupting, no judging, no aggressive debates
English during meetups – so everyone feels included
Friendly feedback is welcome, but no correcting people mid-sentence
Anyone repeatedly ignoring these guidelines may be removed to keep the space comfortable for everyone.
