Join us for our weekly board game night in Inca! Whether you're a casual player looking for a fun night out or an experienced gamer hoping to meet a regular group, you're very welcome.
🧩 What We Play
Most of our regular meetups focus on party games and light-to-medium weight games. We like games that are easy to learn, interactive, and good for getting people talking and playing together.
Some examples of what we often bring to the table:
- Party & Social Deduction: Just One, The Resistance, Skull, Flip 7
- Light-to-Medium Strategy: Azul, Cat in the Box, The Crew
You don't need to know any of these games beforehand — we're happy to teach!
🚀 Interested in Heavier Games?
Although our regular Saturday meetups focus mainly on accessible games, we'd also like to build a core group of players for heavier games.
If you enjoy longer, more strategic, or more complex games, come and meet us! The idea is to connect players who are interested in organizing separate sessions for heavier games outside the regular meetup.
🗣️ Language
We want everyone to feel comfortable at the table, regardless of their native language.
- Most of the physical games we bring are in Spanish, with some in English.
- English speakers are absolutely welcome. Most regular attendees can speak English.
- We often choose games with little or no text, such as Azul or Skull, so limited Spanish usually isn't a problem.
If you're unsure about the language requirements of a particular game, just ask.
📍 Time & Venue
Time: 18:30–23:30
We meet at 18:30 and normally start playing at around 18:45, giving everyone a little time to arrive, grab a drink, and say hello.
Running late? Please send me a quick message so we know you're still coming.
🍻 Please Support the Venue
The bar kindly hosts our group for free, so supporting them is an important part of keeping the meetup running.
Everyone attending is expected to order at least one drink or food item.
We usually have dinner there at around 20:00, often while continuing to play.
📜 Group Guidelines
A few simple rules help us keep the meetup friendly, organized, and enjoyable for everyone.
Attendance & RSVPs
Places are limited, and people are often waiting for a spot.
If you can't attend, please cancel your RSVP at least 24 hours in advance whenever possible, so somebody on the waitlist has a chance to join.
Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may lead to temporary or permanent restrictions on future RSVPs:
- 1st strike: Friendly reminder
- 2nd strike: One-month RSVP suspension
- 3rd strike: Removal from future events
Of course, genuine emergencies happen. Communication goes a long way — just send me a message if something unexpected comes up.
🎯 Games & Table Organization
To make sure tables work well for different experience levels and group sizes, the organizer coordinates the games and table assignments.
I bring a selection of games for the group.
You're welcome to suggest or bring your own game, but if you'd like to teach something specific, please message me beforehand so we can coordinate it.
🎲 Table Etiquette
- Keep turns moving whenever possible.
- Keep phone use to a minimum while playing.
- Avoid alpha gaming — give other players space to make their own decisions.
- Be patient when someone is learning a game.
- Help sort and pack away the components when the game is finished.
🤝 Respect & Safe Space
We want this to be a friendly and inclusive community.
Be open to meeting and playing with new people, treat everyone respectfully, and help newcomers feel welcome.
We have zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or aggressive behaviour.
