About us
This is a group for introverts in the Greater Chicagoland Suburbs to get together, have fun, and make new friends. We host regularly scheduled monthly events like crafts, team building, volunteering, dinners, and other activities throughout the year as we discover new things to do together.
- Our goal is to help people build genuine friendships, feel like they belong, and become part of a welcoming community. We believe regular social connection plays an important role in overall well being.
A few rules to follow:
✨️ This is not a dating group. We’re here for friends and fun. This is not Tinder. Please conduct yourself in a mature manner. Harassment or inappropriate behavior by members will result in removal from the group.
✨️ We want everyone to feel welcome. Racist or sexist remarks, hate speech, and/or purposely making others uncomfortable will not be tolerated.
✨️ Please be mindful of sensitive topics such as gender identity, sexuality, politics, religion, and similar subjects. Unless an event or space is specifically designed for those discussions, we encourage keeping conversations light and respectful for everyone.
Late Policy
If you RSVP but cannot attend, please update your RSVP at least 12 hours before the event. This allows organizers to adjust reservations and notify waitlisted members. Some hosts may not allow late arrivals, so please check with the host beforehand.
No-Shows
Due to the large number of members who RSVP to multiple events, members who frequently no-show may be automatically moved to Not Going for future events. If you truly plan to attend, simply message the host and you can be re-added. ⚠️ Chronic no-shows may be removed from the group at organizer discretion.
Cover Charges
A small number of selected events may include a clearly listed, non-refundable cover charge to help with supplies, space reservations, and group tips when needed, whole majority of the group events will be free without one.
✨️ All events remain going-Dutch unless stated otherwise, meaning attendees cover their own food, admission, and personal costs.
✨️ Any event with a cover charge will always include a transparent breakdown in the event description.
✨️ Cover charges are not intended to generate personal profit. Funds are used solely to support that specific event, community experiences, and the group’s annual hosting fee on the platform.
Our goal is to keep experiences accessible, welcoming, and supportive of social wellness and confidence for everyone.
