About us
Welcome to the Kennett Board Game Group
We love playing board games, not just the games, but the conversations and shared experiences around the table.
Our goal is to create a welcoming and fun environment where people can enjoy playing board games together. The emphasis is on having fun, meeting new people, and enjoying some light-hearted competition.
Don't worry if you've never played the games before; we're all learning new games all the time, and someone is always happy to teach.
Whether you come by yourself or bring a friend (or two), we are happy to have you. Everyone is welcome.
Donations
Meetup charges $380 per year to list the group. Donations are completely optional but are much appreciated.
You can use either Venmo or PayPal to send me money directly or you can use the Meetup fundraiser.
If you donate on Meetup using the "fundraiser," note that the goal is a bit confusing because it reflects the total cost of this year and every year I've had the group, same with money donated. There's no way to limit it to the current year, has to show all years so numbers get confusingly large.

Profile Photo
Please use an identifiable profile photo. It helps organizers recognize new members and makes meeting up feel more welcoming for everyone.
RSVP
If you plan to attend an event, please RSVP. If your plans change please update your RSVP so we know whether or not to expect you.
Minimum Age
This group is intended for adults ages 18 and older.
Respect Others
We ask everyone to treat fellow members with courtesy and respect.
Our goal is to maintain a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable participating. Harassment, discrimination, disruptive behavior, or repeated poor sportsmanship will not be tolerated. Organizers reserve the right to remove anyone whose behavior negatively impacts the group.
