LakesideYoga Dance&Wellness is a community and studio located in Oakville, Ontario with classes designed to move your body, open your heart and expand your mind.
We welcome all to our soothing studio with large windows overlooking Lake Ontario.
Our team of teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable and enthusiastic offering a wide variety of weekly classes. Private lessons are also available.
Our classes and events always take place in our multipurpose room "El Salon" that belongs to the award winning cafe: Taste of Colombia - Fair Trade Cafe.

Starting August 10, 2026Introduce your child to the joy of Colombian culture through the vibrant rhythms of Cumbia.
Our classes are led by professional dance instructors with extensive experience in traditional Colombian dance education.
Students will develop:
Musicality and rhythm
Coordination and body awareness
Synchronization and teamwork
Body isolation (dissociation)
Techniques
Spatial awareness and stage formations
Traditional skirt handling (for dancers using skirts)
Proper posture and elegant movementThrough structured, technique-based instruction, children will build confidence, discipline, and a deeper appreciation for Latin American culture while having fun in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Designed for all experience levels, these classes combine authentic folkloric technique with an enjoyable and welcoming learning environment.
