NOTE: FIRST AND LAST NAME ARE REQUIRED to join this Meetup group. Join requests will not be approved if first and last name is not provided.
The Lancaster Bicycle Club is a road-based recreational club for cyclists of all levels.
The Club carefully plans rides and related events such as bike-safety courses that result in self-confidence, physical fitness, and improved riding skills for cyclists. The Club also hosts numerous social events and supports bicycle-related initiatives through its grant program. The Club has awarded over $530,000 in grants since 1999.
Whether you are an experienced rider or new to bike riding, you can find a variety of suitable rides here on Lancaster Bicycle Club’s Meetup site. Rides are held year round.
Your Meetup membership does not mean you are a Lancaster Bicycle Club member. To eliminate the need for a paper waiver at the ride start, we require club membership in addition to Meetup. You can join today at [lancasterbikeclub.net. ](https://lancasterbikeclub.net)
For proper verification of membership we do not allow anonymous Meetup IDs. Please sign up with a first and last name in order for your request to join be approved.
Thank You.

See all- Ride the Chester Valley Trail 24 miles F RSVP50 Foundry Way, Malvern, PA
Chester Valley Trail now stretches 12 miles between Melvern and the Schuylkill River. This will be a level and paved ride for its full length. Therefore this will be an easy leisure ride. We will ride from Wegman's parking lot to the Schuylkill River and back. It should take around 3 hours to do. Any type of bike will do for this ride, since it is paved. We will stop at Wegman’s for a bite to eat when we get back. They have a nice outside patio.
Helmets are mandatory; No ear buds or audible music playing devices. Please bring water, and a basic repair kit (spare tube, tire levers, pump/CO2 inflator).
To eliminate passing around a pen and paper waiver, we encourage LBC Club membership and Meetup RSVP below to join this ride. RSVP also allows us to contact you after the ride if needed. If you do not RSVP you are not covered by the club excess accident insurance policy; only club members who RSVP are covered. Being on Meetup does not mean you are a club member.
