A group for all the people who love to go outdoors in nature from time to time. I'll try to organize weekend hikes around Leipzig.

General Etiquette:
- Be nice and kind to your fellow hikers.
- Be considerate to the nature and places that we visit.
- This is an all inclusive group, discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
Release of Liability:
All organizers of Leipzig Hikers are volunteers and not professional guides. By signing up for an event, the member acknowledges that they are aware and have made their guests aware of the risks, dangers and hazards associated with any outdoor activity and freely accept, fully assume and tries to avoid all such risks, dangers and hazards. The member and guests further agree to release and discharge the organiser of the event from and against any and all liability arising from their and their guest's participation in the event activities.

Moderate - Hike: ~14KM - Jocketa(Pöhl) Loop
Leipzig, Willy-Brandt-Platz 5, SN, DELet's enjoy some nice weather and hike in Vogtland in Jocketa.
Some more rules in addition to general group rules:
- Only sign up if you are sure about your attendance.
- People who've been "no-show" at previous events will only be allowed to join if they request the day before by messaging me given there are free spots available.
- People with multiple no-shows will not be allowed to sign up for the event.
- If you are in the waiting list please wait patiently for your turn, there is capacity limit for a reason.
Route:
We will start in Jocketa, a town in Vogtland, the route will take us along Vogtland PanoramaWeg and to the Talsperre Pöhl and loop back to Jocketa Bahnhof.

We will meet at Leipzig Hbf Platform 1(underground) at 09:15, and take S5 leaving at 09:28, we switch trains in Werdau and arriving at 11:18am in Jocketa.Ticket Information:
Depending on number of people joining and those who need the ticket can share the Sachsen Ticket costing 65€ for 5 people. We buy ticket in the morning so please arrive on time. Deutschland-Ticket is also valid for the connection. If you are someone who needs to buy a ticket and share Sachsen Ticket with other participants, please let us know in the comments.Recommended things to bring:
Please make sure you wear appropriate clothes for the weather and comfortable outdoor hiking shoes, and also carry enough water and snacks/food for yourself. Bring loose cash for sharing the ticket.Return:
The ending time is a rough estimate only and may change depending on how fast or slow we complete the hike. There are hourly regional trains from Jocketa that take us back to Leipzig. The plan is to take RB2 at 16:43 from Jocketa switching in Werdau and arrive in Leipzig by 18:30.Donations:
Hikes in this group are free to join, and will remain free to join for everyone, but to cover for the costs related to Meetup Organization; at the end of the hike I want to encourage participants to donate based on how much you are able to and how much value you get out of the experience (minimum 1 and maximum 5 euros).
