Lets Get Social! Scarborough UK🌟🇬🇧🌟

Haddock Hideaway, Scarborough
Work from home and fancy a change of scenery?
Come along to our Coworking Thursday at Haddock Hideaway. Emma has very kindly offered us this lovely big table with an amazing sea view, fast Wi-Fi and parking nearby.
It’s a relaxed coworking meetup for anyone who normally works from home and would like a bit of company while getting some work done. Bring your laptop, grab a seat and work alongside a few other people from Scarborough.
☕ Free to join — I just ask that everyone supports Haddock Hideaway by buying at least a drink while they’re there.
🕙 I’ve booked the table for 10am–4pm, but you’re welcome to arrive later, leave earlier, or stay longer.
💬 We also have a WhatsApp group for the Scarborough coworking crew. RSVP or leave a comment and I’ll send you the link.
No networking pitches or anything formal — just working, chatting when you fancy it, coffee and a pretty decent view of the sea.
Bring: laptop + whatever you need to work.

PUB QUIZ FOR THE OVER 40'S! younger people are welcome too. The fee is £1.50 Inc sandwiches at half time.
The quiz starts at 8.15 but we usually arrive from 7. We sit right at the back but if you are not sure ask at the bar for the friendship group and they will tell you where we are. We operate a lottery style system for picking the teams, it keeps it fresh and you get to chat to different people, PLEASE NOTE I have disabled the add guest option for the time being, It's great if you want to bring a guest but to be fair to all anyone who wants to come regularly should be on the app please just message me on the app or privately so I can give the pub an idea of attendees. If you come as a couple we can make allowances for you to start until you get to know us but to make it as inclusive as possible for all we can't guarantee this every week.😁 Dogs are not allowed in the
area where we sit. There is normally a small selection of free sandwiches at half time. If you are coming by yourself, don't worry we will fit you into a team, please remember this is a fun social event to make friends, quizzing comes second and as such everyone should be treated fairly and with respect. Thanks for reading this far and I hope to see you soon 😁
Regards Kathy
