About us
If you love playing or just listening to the piano then our group is for you! Whatever your ability, experience or musical style you'll be welcome. The idea is to provide a regular opportunity to play to a friendly group of like-minded people.
The events will be informal, the aim being to increase performance confidence and have fun. If you'd like to try a duet, there'll be plenty of volunteers!
There's no obligation to perform, or even be a pianist, all are welcome as audience members.
There's an attendance fee of £7 to attend to cover the venue rental and insurance

September *35 Places Only* - Advanced Ticket Required - Audience Welcome
Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, 200 Jennens Road, B4 7XR, Birmingham, GBAll welcome to join our afternoon session in September at the Birmingham Conservatoire. It's a great opportunity to start playing again in 2026 or maybe you're interested in learning the piano for the first time. As always, audience/non-players are welcome!
Note - Attendance is limited to 35 places and all attendees require an advance ticket. Please purchase your ticket when you RSVP to secure your spot (whether audience or player) We typically have a 70/30 split of audience and players so 32 total will work well and there'll most likely some spare time for a few encores.

People can perform regardless of ability, experience or musical style. If you'd prefer just to listen or have never played the piano feel free to come along too. Bring friends/family too if you like! (RSVP+1s)
We'll be playing one of the Conservatoire's fabulous Steinway Grand Pianos. I'll confirm the details which workshop/hall we'll be in the days before.
We'll have access 45 mins before the 2.30pm start so there'll be some warm-up before the event. There'll also be extra time during the interval and at the end as we have the space until 5pm
If you'd like to perform you're most welcome, if we aim for a maximum of 6.5 mins per player we can be sure to fit everyone who'd like to play, shorter pieces definitely welcome! I'll send out a message to start the programme planning on this near the date.
