As UXers, we utilize our skills and tools to create new experiences, new services, and new products. Our work is shaping the future. To kick off 2025 autumn meetup series, we take time to think about what that future might look like. Indeed, what we want it to look like. This one-hour envisioning lunch session is led by Tom Greenwood, co-founder of the sustainability-focused digital agency Wholegrain, creator of the original website carbon calculator, and author of the book Sustainable Web Design.
More about the session
In the mission to create a sustainable future, it's easy to become stuck focusing on problems and challenges faced by society, but how often do we stop to ask what world we truly want? Do we simply want a world free of problems such as climate change and poverty, or do we also have dreams of something more, or something different?
In this workshop, Tom Greenwood will guide you through an interactive process to envisage a world that you would truly love to live in, and build a collective vision for a positive future together with other participants. The aim is to walk away with greater clarity of the world you want to work towards, guiding you and motivating you in your life and work.
