Social Night - Casey Queer Collective
Berwick, Parkhill Drive, AUCome join the Casey Queer Collective for a social night and meet some local queers in the city of Casey and surrounds.
This is a monthly event and held on the 4th Monday of every month. The theme thisonth is Halloween 🎃 👻 Come dressed in a costume and bring spooky snacks if you can!
The vibe of this event is casual and low-pressure. It's a space to socialise, share food and make friends.

📍 Berwick - meeting location will be sent to registered attendees.
🍔 Bring a plate of food or drinks to share.
💰 Gold coin donation + once off $15 membership fee if you attend more than once.
If it's your first time joining us, you're welcome to trial the social night before you pay the membership fee. However, anyone attending more than once needs to become a member. This ensures we're covered by insurances and helps keep our costs low.
The aim of this event is to create space for queer people to socialise and build community. There are so few spaces dedicated specifically to us, especially in the outer suburbs.
If you are an ally or supporter, we appreciate you. However please mindful that this event is a dedicated space for people who identify as LGBTQIA+ only.

🟢 Looking for a safe space to be your authentic self?Being a part of the LGBTQIA+ community and supporting someone you love through their struggles, aren't often things that get named together. A lot of the time, there are spaces designed for one or the other.
It's time that this changes.Express Yourself is a creative journalling group for LGBTQIA+ people navigating care. Whether you're supporting or providing care for a parent, sibling, partner, chosen family or friend - whether it's visible or invisible. This is a space to bring your whole self.
What to expect:
Two hours of creative journalling run by two family and carer peer workers who identify as a part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Creative prompts designed for you. Sharing is optional. No experience is needed. Free. Snacks provided.Registration is required at below link:

Seeds of Hope is a 3 hour nature-based creative workshop for LGBTQIA+ folks, held at the beautiful Darebin Parklands in Alphington.What to expect
- A grounding meditation rooted in hope and possibility
- A solo wander through the parklands noticing quiet, persistent growth
- Hands-on seed bomb making
- Potted indigenous plant to take home
- A collective closing circle
This workshop is for you if:
- You want a tangible, playful way to practice hope
- You're drawn to the outdoors, and getting your hands dirty
- You want queer community without having to perform or be "on"
- You're curious about nature-based and arts-based wellbeing
