Microservices Decomposition Strategies That Work [Free Meetup]
·OnlineOnlineJoin us as we explore practical strategies for decomposing applications into microservices. We’ll discuss decomposition by business capability, decomposition by subdomain, service boundaries, cohesion, loose coupling, and why good decomposition should help teams develop and deploy services independently. Bring your questions, and let’s discuss service design together! This meetup will be delivered in English.

Claude for Beginners and Beyond [Free Meetup]
·OnlineOnlineJoin us for a practical, hands-on introduction to Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant. We'll start with the fundamentals: what Claude is, how it differs from a typical chatbot, and the range of platforms it runs on, from web and desktop to mobile and Slack.
From there, we'll dig into effective prompting: how to define Claude's role, provide context, and specify the output you expect. You'll see how Projects keep related conversations and files organized, how Artifacts turn Claude's output into standalone, shareable documents and apps, and how Skills, Connectors, and the Model Context Protocol extend Claude's abilities with your own tools and data.
We'll also talk about Enterprise Search, Research Mode, and Extended Thinking, along with the Claude Desktop app's Chat, Cowork, and Code modes.
Finally, we'll close with the 4D Framework for AI Fluency: Delegation, Description, Discernment, and Diligence, a practical model for building real judgment in how you work with AI.
Come with questions; there will be time for discussion. Prior knowledge is not required. Whether you're brand new to Claude or already using it daily, you'll leave with practical tools you can apply right away.

Semantic Search in Practice with MongoDB and Voyage AI [Free Meetup]
·OnlineOnlineTraditional keyword search retrieves documents containing the exact words entered by the user. Semantic search goes further by understanding the meaning and intent behind a query, allowing it to find relevant content even when different terminology is used. In this practical meetup, we will explore how semantic search works and implement it using MongoDB and Voyage AI. We will introduce vector embeddings, embedding models, multidimensional vector spaces, and similarity measurements such as cosine similarity, Euclidean distance, and dot product. Using Python, Voyage AI, and MongoDB Atlas, we will generate embeddings for document data, store them directly alongside MongoDB documents, create a vector search index, convert user queries into embeddings, and execute semantic searches. We will also examine how reranking models improve the ordering and relevance of the initial search results.
Come with questions; there will be time for discussion. Prior knowledge is not required. Whether you're brand new to MongoDB and Semantic Search or already using it daily, you'll leave with practical tools you can apply right away.
