Dim Sum Workshop
Lili Centre, Alpenquai 40a, Luzern, CHJoin us for a hands-on Dim Sum workshop! Learn about the history of a traditional Chinese dish, hear personal stories, and cook together.
Dim Sum (點心) is a type of Cantonese cuisine that originated in the city of Guangzhou, China 1,000 years ago. Beginning as a tradition of serving two sweet or savory snacks with tea service, Dim Sum has evolved into a weekly brunch activity called Yum Cha (飲茶) that many Chinese families participate in to catch up each other. With over 2,000 varieties of Dim Sum, each meal is a chance to experience something new.
In this workshop led by students from the Master of Service Design program at Hochschule Luzern, you will learn how to make one traditional Cantonese Dim Sum dish with two different fillings, a dessert, and taste a special Chinese tea. You will learn about the history and significance of the dishes and the philosophy behind the recipes. What to Expect
- A short introduction about the dish
- Interactive dumpling folding and cooking
- Vegetarian options available

Meditation for Men
Lili Centre, Alpenquai 40a, Luzern, CHA dedicated weekly space for men who want to ground themselves, reconnect with purpose, and strengthen their presence in order to show up in integrity in all areas of life.
Why this matters:
Modern life pulls men in many directions: work, family, community, and responsibilities. Meditation offers a powerful way to pause, regroup, gain clarity and clear intention with what truly matters.Benefits include:
- Greater emotional balance and stress reduction
- Improved focus and clarity
- A stronger sense of inner direction and purpose
- More patience and presence with family and loved ones
- Enhanced resilience in challenging situations
- The ability to respond rather than react
- A deeper connection to self, values, and mission
Why “questioning the mind” is essential:
Men often carry silent expectations: to be strong, dependable, unshaken. But real strength comes from awareness, not suppression.Meditation creates space to question the automatic patterns of the mind:
- Is this belief truly mine?
- Why do I react this way?
- What do I actually want for my life and the people I love?
This practice helps men break out of old conditioning, step into authenticity, and show up with integrity for themselves, their families, and their communities.

This space is held by Anna, healer, transformation coach, and founder of The Powerful Self. She has guided this work for years, blending ancient shamanic wisdom with modern spiritual psychology to support deep transformation.
