Social boardgames night at Sugar & Dice

Join us Friday for boardgames night at Sugar & Dice boardgames Cafe.

The cafe offers a large number of games for us to play and you can order food and drinks if you wish. Please note that there is also an hourly administration fee (2.5£) that we all have to pay to the cafe so we can use their games.

We know that some people have anxiety from social events as such, and we promise you that most of us (beside the organizer perhaps 😉) are welcoming, and that we all have our shits, so please don't let life stopping you from having some fun...

📚 Theme: Exploring some of the Liverpool’s most voted pubs by the attendees of the 1st Historic Pub Crawl inspired by the book Historic Pub Crawls Through England by Thomas J. Vosper

Join me for a Liverpool pub crawl that blends good company, local history, and the charm of some of the city’s most iconic pubs.

At each stop, we’ll comment facts about each pub to give historical context — stories about the buildings, the characters who passed through them, and the role these pubs played in Liverpool’s cultural life. It’s relaxed, friendly, and perfect for anyone who enjoys learning something new while sharing a drink and good conversation.

We're going to attempt a return visit to Sefton Park for some adults only outdoor games... if it's dry, we'll play!

We'll play Rounders, Dodgeball and some other daft games that I throw in! 🤗

There are lots of routes in and out of Sefton Park so make sure you check the comments on the day as I will share our exact location with attendees only. (Make sure you turn your notifications on for comments.) 👍🏻

Please have a recognisable profile picture and please do not turn up for the event if you haven't RSVPed.

Our spot will be in easy walking distance of the cafe/toilets.

If it's your first event and you're worried about coming alone, don't be. Drop me a private message ahead of time and I'll keep a special look out for you. If you arrive and you feel uncomfortable or it's just not your thing, you can just leave and you've lost nothing. 🧡

It’s been a little over a year since I started hosting our Sunday Board Games sessions. And I might have celebrated a birthday (or not 🤫)….

This session will be a little different from usual. Rather than being tailored to the group’s choices, it's unapologetically built around my favourite things.

So, we'll be diving into games filled with chaotic energy, shifting alliances, wild accusations, suspicious behaviour, and more than a few outright lies.

While friendships may be tested and alibis thoroughly scrutinised, one of my most important rule remains the same. Being kind, respectful, and inclusive to one another.

And strictly (please), no presents! Your company, time and your willingness to embrace the chaos is all that’s required.

The cafe has a wide selection of games, with food and drinks available to order. There is also a cover charge of £2.50 per hour per person for game use, payable at the end.

Feeling nervous? Our friendly host will be there to warmly welcome you, explain games, and make sure the vibes stay inclusive and easygoing.
