Welcome to LIVE! We're a social group for people looking to make friends, meet new people, and be part of a welcoming community. We host a variety of events throughout South Jersey, Philadelphia, and beyond—from happy hours, hiking, beach trips, festivals, and special adventures.
There's always something to do, whether it's enjoying the shore in the summer or exploring the city during the colder months. If you're new to the area or simply looking to expand your social circle, we'd love to have you join us.

Mount Laurel Fireworks
Laurel Acres Park, 1040 Union Mill Rd, Mt. Laurel, NJ, USWe’re celebrating Independence Day by going to see the fireworks in Mount Laurel! I haven't gone here before and I heard they are having a drone light show along with the fireworks.

We’ll gather at the American Flag Pole and Memorial Wall around 6:00–6:30 PM. Make sure to bring a blanket or chair so you can sit comfortably on the grass. There will be food vendors, plus Spellbound Brewery, and live music throughout the evening. Fireworks will begin at 9:00pm.

Besides Laurel Acres Park, there are three other places you can park. It's going to be crowded so expect to park here. I found that entering the ADDRESS in the gps, NOT THE NAME, took me exactly where I needed to go. I'll list the address along with the places below.Mount Laurel EMS Station

Funplex After Dark
The Funplex, 3320-24 New Jersey 38, Mount Laurel, NJ, USToday we're having fun at the Funplex! This is an event for adults only (21+). We have unlimited access to indoor rides and the water park. There's also arcade games and bowling, plus a full service bar and a live DJ set.
We'll gather in the parking lot from 9:00–9:30pm. From there, we'll split off and explore the rides and attractions together. Make sure to bring a bag with a bathing suit and towel if you plan on using the water park.
Tickets are $59 (plus sales tax/convenience fees) and you have to purchase them online. You can get your tickets at the link below. Click "Get Tickets" and choose July 10th.

Parking is also about $5-6 dollars for the day. You can pay inside after you scan your ticket. They'll be a qr code and you'll be able to pay with your phone.
The Funplex is almost like a full theme park with unlimited attractions all night. The Funplex is open until 1am, but I'll probably leave around 11:30pm-12am. Feel free to stay as long as you like!

Let's go to LBI
Locohana Tropical Grill, 1301 Long Beach Blvd, Beach Haven, NJ, USFor our first beach event, we're going to Long Beach Island (LBI)! We'll get some lunch at Locohana Tropical Grill in Beach Haven. Then we'll head to beach.
We might get lucky but beach staff may come around and check for beach tags. It's $10 for the day and cash only. Make sure you bring at least $10 cash with you, or maybe more for good measure.
After the beach, we'll either go to Bay Village or Fantasy Island Amusement Park depending on what everyone wants to do. We'll leave at our own schedule, but I might head out around 8pm. Look forward to a beachtastic day!!!
Parking can get a little busy during the summer. You may be able to park at LocOhana itself, or find street parking nearby. Carpooling is recommended.

Let's Hit the Beach and see Lucy at Margret City☀️🏖️🐘
Ventura's Greenhouse, 106 South Benson Ave, Margate, NJ, USJoin us for a relaxing day down the shore in Margate City! Just south of Atlantic City, Margate has a quieter, laid-back atmosphere that reminds me a bit of Beach Haven on LBI. It is also home to Lucy the Elephant, which I always wanted to see.
We'll start with lunch at Ventura's Greenhouse around noon. After lunch, we'll head to the beach to relax and catch some waves before visiting Lucy the Elephant.
Margate is a quiet town, but we have a few options afterward:
- We could take a stroll along the Ventnor Boardwalk. It's quieter than other boardwalks and is mainly a place to enjoy the scenic ocean views.
- Head to the Atlantic City boardwalk, maybe grab dinner, and explore the casinos
- Or keep things simple and get ice cream or coffee before heading home.
We'll see how everyone feels and decide as a group.
