This group is for any and all book lovers who live in or near Worthington, OH who would like to make some new local friends and talk about books together!
We will get together once a month to discuss our chosen book. At some meetings, we will vote on our next read. Other times, a book may just be chosen by that month's host.
We will give everyone some time at the beginning of the meeting to grab some food and drinks, if desired, then dive into discussing our book. We meet at Zaftig Brewing Company in Worthington.

Our October read is Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro.
From her place in the store, Klara, an Artificial Friend with outstanding observational qualities, watches carefully the behavior of those who come in to browse, and of those who pass on the street outside. She remains hopeful that a customer will soon choose her, but when the possibility emerges that her circumstances may change forever, Klara is warned not to invest too much in the promises of humans. In Klara and the Sun, Ishiguro looks at our rapidly changing modern world through the eyes of an unforgettable narrator to explore a fundamental question: what does it mean to love?

We will meet at The Pub Out Back in their Room Out Back space. We are welcome to bring in our own food, but drinks must be purchased at the bar. Parking is available in the public lot off of W New England Ave or on-street in the Old Worthington area.
