Cybersecurity × AI: Berlin's Builders, Breakers & Backers #4
Wed, Sep 23, 5:00 PMAI has changed both sides of the security equation at once. Attackers are automating reconnaissance, phishing, and exploit development at a scale that didn't exist two years ago. Defenders are shipping agents that triage alerts, patch code, and hunt threats faster than any SOC team could. And an entirely new attack surface — the models themselves — is being built into products before anyone has agreed on how to secure it. Berlin has quietly become one of Europe's densest clusters of people working on exactly this problem: security founders, ML engineers, red teamers, CISOs, researchers, and the investors funding them. This meetup is an attempt to get them in one room. **⚠️ Attendance is limited and by application only** To be considered, apply here: [https://luma.com/kxpitonb](https://luma.com/kxpitonb) We're capping this event at **10 people**. The reason is deliberate: we'd rather have a room where everyone present is actually working in this space than a large room where most people are browsing. Smaller rooms mean better conversations and a much higher chance you meet the two or three people who matter for what you're building. The form takes about two minutes. We'll ask for: * Your name and where you work * What you're building, investing in, or researching * Your role (founder / engineer / security lead / investor / researcher / other) * What you're hoping to get out of the evening We review applications on a rolling basis and confirm attendees by email. Applying early genuinely helps — once we're at capacity we close the list. If you're not selected this time, you'll be first in line for the next one. **What to expect** * [2–3 short talks] from founders and practitioners building at the intersection — offensive AI, AI-native defense tooling, securing LLM applications, compliance under the EU AI Act * An open Q&A where hard questions are welcome * Long-form networking **Who we're looking for** Founders (pre-idea to Series B), security engineers and researchers, red teamers, CISOs and security leads, VCs and angels active in the space, and serious people looking to move into it.

The Tax Playbook for Real Estate (Landlords Networking Meetup)
Fri, Sep 18, 2:00 PM**Landlords Networking Meetup: The Tax Playbook for Real Estate** Taxes are one of the most important factors when it comes to building wealth through real estate. Yet many landlords and property owners only think about taxes after making an investment decision, **when the most important structuring decisions may already have been made.** In this meetup, we focus on the connection between real estate and taxation: 1\. how different investment structures can impact your tax situation 2\. what landlords and investors should consider before buying or selling 3\. how to approach real estate with a more strategic\, long\-term perspective\. Rather than theory, this session is designed to provide practical insights into the tax-related decisions that property owners face in real life. **We’ll discuss common mistakes, important considerations, and strategies that can help landlords structure their real estate investments more efficiently.** Join us on **September 18th** for an evening of practical insights, open discussion, and high-level networking with landlords, investors, and property owners interested in building long-term wealth through real estate. **Please note: This event will be accompanied by a professional video production.**
