Note: while the meetup is free, we would ask that you order something as courtesy for the venue :).

We now have a donation box, ask the host if you feel like supporting.

RSVP recommended so that we can make sure there is room for you. Beginners please come early for the introduction in the beginning (roughly 2 - 2.30 pm). After this time we may not have spaces left for beginners.

Join us for the Irish Riichi Championship 2026 — a weekend of competitive Japanese Mahjong in Dublin, welcoming players from Ireland and across Europe.

Whether you are an experienced tournament player or looking to take part in your first major event, this tournament aims to provide a friendly, well-organised, and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.

What to expect:
• 2 full days of Riichi Mahjong
• EMA-style tournament format
• Players from Ireland and abroad
• Beginner-friendly community atmosphere outside the games
• Convenient access from Dublin Airport and the city centre
