š¾Friendly pickleball games. New connections. A place to belong.š¾
Want to play pickleball but donāt have anyone to play with? Curious about the sport but nervous about stepping onto a court for the first time? Or simply looking for friendly people to enjoy a few games with?
Youāre in the right place!
We bring together people who live in or visit Miami-Dade and Broward for relaxed pickleball and genuine social connections. Most of our players are beginners to intermediate, but experienced players who enjoy a welcoming, patient environment are also invited.
Come on your ownāno partner or existing friend group needed. Introduce yourself, warm up, play, and get to know people between games.
Our events take place at different indoor and outdoor locations, during the day and in the evening. The group is free to join, and we prioritize free places to play. When a venue charges a fee, we explain the cost in the event description.
Weāre a social group, not a professional clinic or competitive league. Friendly competition is welcome; pressure, disrespect, and making others feel unwelcome are not.
Look for the blue conesāthatās us! šµ

šØOur 4 main rulesšØ
1ļøā£. RSVP thoughtfully and keep it updated. Sign up when you genuinely plan to attend. If your plans change, cancel as soon as possible so the host can plan and someone else can take your spot.
2ļøā£. Bring a friendly, respectful attitude. Welcome newcomers, share court time, and be patient with different skill levels. You donāt need to be outgoingācourtesy is what matters.
3ļøā£. Know your limits. Come prepared for physical activity, take breaks when needed, and tell the host about unsafe court conditions. Never feel pressured to keep playing.
4ļøā£. Practice good sportsmanship. Harassment, aggression, discrimination, and repeated disrespect are not welcome. Depending on the situation, misconduct may result in removal from an event or the group.

šµš½āāļøFrequently asked questionsšØš½āš»
1. What is the goal of this group?
To play pickleball, have a good time, and build friendships along the way. We want a community where people feel comfortable showing up on their own and look forward to seeing familiar faces again.
2. Is this group only for pickleball?
Yes! Pickleball is our focus. Socializing is part of the experience, but this isnāt a general sports or activities group.
3. Does it cost anything to join or play?
Joining is free, and we prioritize free-to-play events. Some indoor clubs or other venues charge admission or court fees. Any known required costs will be stated in the event description before you RSVP.
4. Why cover both Miami-Dade and Broward?
We enjoy bringing people together in both counties. Choose the events that work for your location and scheduleāyouāre not expected to travel to every meetup.
5. Do I need my own paddle?
Not necessarily for your first visit! Iām happy to lend spare paddles when available. Let the event host know in advance if you need one, especially at events hosted by someone else.
If you decide to play regularly, please get your own paddle so loaners remain available for newcomers. Check each event description for what to bring.
6. What happens if it rains?
Outdoor events may be delayed, postponed, or canceled when weather or court conditions make play unsuitable.
Check the event page and host updates before leaving. Rain earlier in the day doesnāt automatically mean cancellation, but the event staying on the calendar is not a guarantee that conditions wonāt change.
We wonāt ask anyone to play on unsafe courts.
7. What if Iām on the waitlist?
Please see what was posted on the discussion board about it.
8. Iāve never playedāor I feel anxious approaching a group. Am I welcome?
Absolutely. You donāt need experience or someone to come with you.
Look for the blue cones, introduce yourself to the host, and tell us itās your first time. Weāll help you get acquainted and explain the basics.
This is informal help from fellow players, not a professional lesson. Everyone starts somewhere, and mistakes are part of learning.
9. Iām an advanced player. Is this group for me?
Yes, if you enjoy social play and are comfortable playing alongside beginners and intermediate players.
Please be patient and willing to adjust to the players on your court. If youāre seeking consistently high-level competition, a particular event may not meet that expectation.
10. Can someone under 18 participate?
Please contact the host before bringing anyone under 18. Donāt assume a minor can attend based on an adultās RSVP.
Participation must comply with Meetupās and the venueās applicable requirements. Any permitted minor must attend with a parent or legal guardian.
11. Are seniors welcome?
Absolutely. We welcome adults of different ages who enjoy friendly pickleball.
The same expectation applies to everyone: participate within your abilities, take breaks, and donāt push through discomfort to keep a game going.
12. How do I find everyone?
Look for the blue cones! šµ
Check the event description and comments for entrance instructions, court numbers, and last-minute updates. If youāre having trouble, message the host using the contact method listed for that event.
Please allow time for a responseāthe host may be helping someone or playing.
13. What if pickleball or this group isnāt for me?
Thatās completely okay. Thank you for giving it a try!
Thereās no pressure to keep attending. If you change your mind later, youāre welcome back as long as you remain in good standing with the group.
14. What if I donāt get along with another participant?
You donāt have to become friends with everyone, but everyone is expected to remain courteous.
If something makes you uncomfortable, bring it to the host privately rather than arguing on the court. Concerns will be taken seriously, and the groupās conduct rules apply to everyone.
15. Who started the group?
Hi, Iām Andres!
I enjoy pickleball, but I didnāt always have people to play with, and joining unfamiliar open-play groups wasnāt always easy. I created this group to find friendly people who wanted to play, connect, and have a good time.
My goal is to make that first visit easier for youāand help build a community youāll want to return to.
Choose an event, RSVP, and come say hello. See you by the blue cones! ššµ
