Two chefs. Zero rules. One very long table.
Think pumpkin, warm spices, and a spread so generous you’ll need a second plate by the time you’ve found your seat.

You can expect Harissa couscous, pumpkin mac and cheese, shakshouka with sardines, bánh mì buns, cornmeal cake and more (menu attached).

Stay for seconds (and thirds) -- no one is going to stop you here. Grab a drink from the bar, pull up a chair and eat your way around the world, one autumn plate at a time.

Spend two slow, hands-on hours with Nat of Crafty Corner, learning to shape wire and glass beads into your own beaded plant.

No experience or green thumb needed. Just bring your curiosity and patience, and we’ll provide everything else.

You’ll leave with a handmade botanical that never needs watering, and it makes a lovely gift if you can bear to part with it.

Most people will happily sign up for a cooking class because they believe they can cook. Baking has the opposite reputation: too scientific, too fussy, too hard.

This November and December, Melanie Andrade of The Mindful Step, is out to change that with "Make You a Baker: The Festive Edition".

The three-hour workshop, held in partnership with The Cooking Nook in Matosinhos, takes place on Saturday 21 November from 10:00 to 13:00.

The session is limited to ten guests, who will work in small teams.
The morning start with coffee or tea, then take turns baking four classic cakes: a flourless chocolate cake with ganache, a red velvet with cream cheese frosting, a carrot cake, and a berry and almond cake.

Every guest leaves with a box of cakes, and a recipe booklet to bake them again at home.

Dietary note: the workshop doesn't cater for gluten-free, lactose-free or vegan diets, and the kitchen handles gluten, dairy, eggs and nuts.
