Cuddle Party ™ is a playful social event/workshop designed for adults to explore communication, boundaries and affection. You can come to a Cuddle Party ™ to meet new people, to enjoy amazing conversations, to touch and be touched, to have fun, to practice asking for what you want, to practice saying "no" to what you don't want--all in a setting structured to be a safe place for exploration and enjoyment. It is a platonic, non-sexual event
People who participate in this group should have a strong sense of integrity, kindness, fun, curiosity, open-mindedness, and an interest in both receiving and giving safe and respectful touch and affection. They should be respectful of rules and guidelines, and they should feel free to reframe assumptions. Events are open to Cuddlers 18 years and over.

Cuddle Party, with facilitator-in-training Apollo Grace

Enjoy an evening of safe, connecting touch in a Cuddle Party. We'll begin with a welcome circle, going over the rules of the event and practicing some consent games; then we'll spend the rest of the evening freely cuddling with others, as we feel ready.
This is a great opportunity for participants to practice two "growth edges": asking for what we want, and saying no to what we don't want.

What to bring: Pajamas, sweats, t-shirts or other soft, comfortable clothing. A commitment to honor yourself and others. A spirit of play. Snacks to share are welcome.
What not to bring: Please avoid wearing any fragrances or other scented products.
Time Boundaries: Doors open at 5:15pm, and the event starts at 5:30. In order to protect the integrity of the group, we lock the doors at 5:45 and no one else will be admitted after that time.
Location information will be sent to all paid attendees.
The Rules: We will be following the eleven rules from CuddleParty.com.
Inclusivity: We welcome all ages over 18; all ethnicities; and all orientations and gender expressions.
This is a sober event. Snacks will be served. Event is in a pet-free, smoke-free home.
About the Facilitator-in-training: Apollo Grace has been a regular Cuddle Party attendee since some of the earliest Cuddle Parties in Minneapolis in 2007, and now he's going for his certification. He currently lives in North Carolina, but frequently travels to the Twin Cities and hopes to offer more events here in future.
