We're thrilled to have you join us in our exciting community of trivia buffs, board game enthusiasts, bar crawl adventurers, live music fans, karaoke stars, outdoor adventurers, and festival-goers. Whether you're here to challenge your knowledge, make new friends over a board game, explore the best bars in town, hike all the best trails, or dance the night away at a concert or festival, there's something for everyone. Welcome to the Nashville Nerd Herd!
We are an inclusive group and aim to foster a positive environment to foster friendship for all. The majority of events will be free and there are no dues to be a member. Events with a fee due to equipment/venue costs (such as kayak rental, for example) will be indicated as such.
Attendance Policy
We appreciate your interest in our events and want everyone to have the opportunity to participate. To ensure a great experience for all, we have established the following attendance policy:
- Attending without RSVP: Meetup has an established RSVP system that includes Going, Not Going, and Waitlist. For safety reasons as well as to avoid overcrowding, please ensure that you are only attending events where you are marked as "Going." Attendance without an appropriate RSVP may be cause for removal from the group.
- No Shows: If you miss three events without prior notice, you may be removed from the group.
- Same-Day Cancellations: Canceling on the day of the event without notifying the group will be considered a no-show. Please comment on the event page or let an organizer know if you cannot make it.
- Advance Notice: If you think you won’t be able to attend, please take the time to edit your RSVP the day before the event. This helps us make room for others who are eager to join.

Free Bully (Indie Rock) Show | Nashville Yards
Nashville Yards, 131 10th Ave. N., Nashville, TN, USLocal indie rock heroes Bully are playing a free show at The Nashville Yards!
As part of the WNXP Summer Line series, Nashville’s own Bully is playing a free, all-ages outdoor show at Ascension St. Thomas Landing at Nashville Yards.
Doors are at 6, the opener (TBA) goes on at 7, and Bully plays at 8. I will be arriving at 6:45 to get a decent spot in the crowd.
To be able to attend the show, you need to RSVP at this link, and it will send you an Eventbrite ticket that you can use to get in.
You can get to Ascension Saint Thomas Landing several ways. The most common ways are:
- Via the Walkway off 10th Ave. (most direct path from the West Parking Garage - 131 10th Ave. N)
- Via the Stairway behind the Pinnacle Tower
- Via Grand Hyatt Nashville's outdoor spiral staircase
- Via The Union Station Nashville Yards' outdoor staircase
- PARKING: Parking in this area is a little sus. You can get parking from the Nashville Yards website or use Spothero.com. I’ve also sometimes been able to find street parking by Pins Mechanical in the past
- FOOD: The Lawn at Nashville Yards has a wide variety of food truck options
- NON—ALCOHOLIC OPTIONS: NA beer, THC drinks, soda
