We're thrilled to have you join us in our exciting community of trivia buffs, board game enthusiasts, bar crawl adventurers, live music fans, karaoke stars, outdoor adventurers, and festival-goers. Whether you're here to challenge your knowledge, make new friends over a board game, explore the best bars in town, hike all the best trails, or dance the night away at a concert or festival, there's something for everyone.

We are an inclusive group and aim to foster a positive environment to foster friendship for all. The majority of events will be free and there are no dues to be a member. Events with a fee due to equipment/venue costs (such as kayak rental, for example) will be indicated as such.

Please know that by joining the group you agree to the following policies:

Profile Photos 📷️
If you can please ensure your profile photo is of a clear photo of yourself -- this helps us organizers to be able to identify you when we are at an event. It is such a bummer when people end up lost and we cannot see who to look out for!

Inappropriate Behavior/Sliding into DMs 🚫
If you have any questions regarding the details of an event, please reach out to one of the organizers and not to other members! As self-proclaimed nerds, we all know that most people do not appreciate cold approaches from strangers via DM. We never want anyone to feel uncomfortable and we are not a fan of harassment. If anyone in our group is making you uncomfortable, please reach out to one of the organizers. We got your back - we will be discrete, and we will handle it for you. It is super important for us to keep this a safe space for everyone to be themselves and to have fun together!
*Pro tip: it's not super intuitive, but there is a way to restrict DMs by going to "edit profile" (not settings, but specifically "edit profile" - it should have a little pencil icon to the left) and then go to the privacy settings - you can select who can message you and you can limit it to just organizers if you want!

Attendance 🍎
We appreciate your interest in our events and want everyone to have the opportunity to participate. To ensure a great experience for all, we have established the following attendance policy:

1. Attending without RSVP: Meetup has an established RSVP system that includes Going, Not Going, and Waitlist. For safety and capacity reasons, please ensure that you are only attending events where you are marked as "Going." Attendance without an appropriate RSVP may be cause for removal from the group.
2. No Shows: If you miss three events without prior notice, you may be removed from the group.
3. Same-Day Cancellations: Canceling on the day of the event without notifying the group will be considered a no-show. Please comment on the event page or let an organizer know if you cannot make it (we don't really care about the reason - just be courteous to give us a heads up and it's no big deal!)
4. Advance Notice: If you think you won’t be able to attend, please take the time to edit your RSVP the day before the event. This helps us make room for others who are eager to join.
