Attending some aspect of CMA Fest is a Nashville bucket list experience. Festivals are always a bit hard to coordinate Meetups at but I found this free experience and think it can work... as long as you don't have to work! ;)

I recently learned about this awesome initiative called "No Hate on My Plate" and found this event hosted by Kingdom Cafe. The goals of the event closely align with the goals of our group - community building, meaningful conversations, opportunities to learn and new experiences!

ABOUT:
No Hate on My Plate is an event series designed to bring people together around a shared meal to discuss their experiences and observations of hate, bias, and discrimination in their communities. Natural conversations will be aided by a moderator who will ensure conversations stay relevant and substantive while maintaining a safe and welcoming space.

The discussions simultaneously create community among the gathered participants and provide information about what issues seem to be bubbling up in different areas. This organically leads to networks of support and creates opportunities for early intervention if a particular issue seems to be at a tipping point.

No Hate on My Plate is an initiative of Humans Over Hate: www.HumansOverHate.org.
