Join us for a fun and friendly Pub Quiz Night at The Dolphin!

We’ve got a table booked from 7:00pm, before the quiz kicks off at 7:30pm.

This event is newcomer‑friendly — whether you’re a quiz regular or just fancy something different on a Wednesday night, you’ll be warmly welcomed.

Quiz entry is £2 per person (paid to the pub on the night).
Come along, meet some great people, and enjoy a relaxed evening of trivia, drinks, and good vibes.

We play from 11:00am to 12:30pm, mixing up partners and abilities so everyone gets a good game. No pressure — just relaxed rallies and some light competition.

Whether you’ve never picked up a racket or you’ve played a bit before, you’ll fit right in. Just bring comfy clothes, and a drink. Rackets available if you need one.

We split the cost of the court so it's usually only a few pounds per person, and parking is free at Northcroft!

Once we’re done, we grab a coffee in town — it’s become a bit of a Sunday ritual and a lovely way to socialise after playing 😁

We’re meeting at Slug & Lettuce in Newbury on Friday 21th Aug at 8pm for a drinks & cocktail evening. It’s a simple end‑of‑week get‑together where you can try a few drinks, chat, and ease into the weekend without anything too organised. Come for one drink or stay for the whole evening — whatever suits you.

It’s a good chance to meet new people, catch up with familiar faces, and enjoy a Friday night out in a friendly, easygoing setting. If you like a social atmosphere without any pressure, we'd love to see you 😊
